About
Hi, welcome to my page! My name is Huarui Zhou, Huarui (華瑞) is my given name, and Zhou (周) is my family name. I was born and grew up in Macheng(麻城), a small but beautiful city in Hubei Province, China. I completed my undergraduate studies in Biology and Math in Beijing and then moved to Durham to pursue my PhD at Duke University. I'm now a PhD candidate in the Cell and Molecular Biology Program at Duke, where I research the cell cycle in endocycling and polyploid yeasts under the supervision of Dr. Steve Haase.
